Fly to Vancouver for your fully escorted 14 Day Tour. See Whistler, home of the 2010 Olympics, Banff, Lake Louise (stay in the Fairmont Lake Louise) & Jasper before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf on their famous 2 day journey to Vancouver. Go Whale watching and see Butchart Gardens in Victoria before flying “North to Alaska”.

Arrive in Alaska, the “Great Land” and see Anchorage, Seward & Mt McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America at just over 6,000 meters. Wonder at the wildlife as you see Grizzlies, Caribou, Bald Eagles, whales, seals and a full range of animals unique to North America. Visit some of the First Nations communities to see how the local natives and Inuit (Eskimos) lived in this harsh land.

Take the McKinley Explorer, the Domed Railcar operated by Holland America Tours through the center of Alaska to Fairbanks, where they are still mining gold. Then we head to the real gold country, Canada’s Yukon and Dawson City, home of the amazing Gold Rush of 1898. Explore the Tundra at Tombstone Park before heading to Whitehorse and Skagway, over the famed White Pass by train.

We then join our cruise ship, ms Statendam, for the 5 Day/4 Night cruise through the Inside Passage. View amazing glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park and ports of call like Skagway and Ketchikan (where John West gets his salmon!!) before arriving in Vancouver. All your meals and entertainment are included on board your floating hotel as you cruise the protected waters of the Inside Passage.

As an optional add-on after the main tour, over 30 of the group have already booked to fly to New York and have a 17 day Eastern USA & Canada Tour. Visit Boston, Quebec City & Montreal, Toronto & Niagara Falls before heading back to Amish Country in Pennsylvania. Then see Washington D.C. before visiting Philadelphia and returning to New York & Australia.
